Listing submissions
The Get listed form opens an email to Henrik. The message can include the program name, city and country, short description, stage, website, contact email, and permission to be contacted about the listing. Henrik uses this information to reply and review the requested listing.
How this map is made
The list is curated from public sources. Program terms change often, so founders must confirm current terms on each program's own site before applying. City dots use fixed coordinates in the app code, then Leaflet places those cities on Esri Light Gray Canvas map tiles.
Analytics and browser storage
This site uses Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and top pages. The Plausible script is loaded from plausible.io with the site domain openthelighthouse.com.
Plausible states that it does not use cookies, local storage, cross-site tracking, or persistent identifiers, and that visitor data is aggregated. Filters on this site are kept in memory and reflected in the URL query string so a filtered view can be shared.
Retention and rights
Email enquiries are kept no longer than needed for the listing review, resulting conversation, or applicable record-keeping obligations. Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
